Solid Perfume

How to make solid perfume

This is a very useful thing to keep in your hand bag as there is no chance of it spilling and ruining it and if you're somewhere with unpleasant smells like on buses and trains or somewhere near people with poor personal hygiene (YUCK!) - just rub a bit on your wrist and subtly inhale the smell! Hehe! ^_^

You will need:
*Beeswax.
*Sweet almond oil / Jojoba oil / Olive oil/ Similar base oil. (More information about base oils here )
*Essential oil or Fragrance.
*Pot/container/empty clean chap stick tube.
*Heatproof bowl.
*Saucepan with water.
*Cocktail stick.

Some of the things you will need.
Method:
Place the saucepan on the hob and bring the water to the boil. Place the heatproof bowl over to create a double boiler. Cut a slice off the beeswax (a little less than the container can hold) and place into the bowl to melt, add 10-20 drops of base oil into the bowl. Add 5-16 drops of your scent or blend of oils and stir with the cocktail stick.

A Selection of suitable pots.
Place your chosen pot or container on a flat surface and using the cocktail stick to guide the liquid into the pot, tip the melted wax and oil into the container and leave to cool. If the wax starts to solidify before you finish tipping it in simply place the bowl over the pan of boiling water to re melt.

After your perfume mixture has solidified, it is ready to use, simply rub your fingers in the mixture and glide over your pulse points.
